Properly stored, frozen pupusas can last up to 2-3 months. This method ensures that the pupusas retain their original flavor and texture when reheated.

When you’re ready to enjoy your frozen pupusas, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight. Thawing them slowly helps maintain the integrity of the masa and fillings. Once thawed, you can reheat the pupusas using a skillet, oven, or microwave.
